Los Angeles County Disaster Management Area Coordinators (DMAC)
Because the Los Angeles County operational area is so large (88 cities), it is subdivided into eight Disaster Management Areas, overseen by Disaster Management Area Coordinators (DMAC). DMACs serve as liaisons to various levels of government, and assist in the collection and dissemination of information from the various levels of government to and from the cities of LA County. This community serves as a platform for LA County DMACs to collaborate, share resources, and participate in discussions. 6
