Virginia Region 6 (Roanoke) RPAC I
The Virginia Office of Commonwealth Preparedness (OCP) established the Regional Preparedness Advisory Committees for Interoperability (RPAC-Is) to assist the State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC) in implementing the initiatives written in the Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan (SCIP). Virginia is divided into seven interoperability regions and each region has an RPAC-I. The RPAC-I provides a forum for local communities to coordinate and plan operationally and tactically at the regional level, and helps the state collect regional perspective and input in order make informed interoperability decisions. 12
Virginia Region 7 (Northern Virginia) RPAC I

Virginia SIEC CC (State Interop Executive Committee-Coordinating Committee)
The Virginia SIEC-CC was created to provide more interoperability direction, strategy, and guidance from the state-level; define interoperability and how to achieve it at the grassroots level; and to provide feedback, recommendations, and guidance to the SIEC in order to implement the interoperability strategy 19
Virginia State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC)
The Virginia SIEC Community is established to provide SIEC members with a place to discuss and collaborate on interoperability best practices and issues relevant to Virginia. The SIEC works to advance regional interoperability, planning, and information sharing capabilities across the Commonwealth. 26

Virtual Tabletop Exercise Program FEMA EMI
EMI conducts a series of VTTXs using a video teleconference (VTC) platform to reach community-based training audiences around the country and provide a virtual forum for disaster training. The VTTX process involves key personnel from the emergency management community of practice reviewing a pre-packaged set of exercise materials then convening for a four-hour tabletop exercise discussing a simulated disaster scenario with a total of 10-15 sites. The event allows the connected sites to assess current plans, policies and procedures while learning from the other connected sites as they provide their perspective and practice facing a similar situation. A VTC system is required for participation. There is no cost for this program. 10
